Pumps & motors
Noise, loss of prime, leaks at the seal, or a motor that won't start. Often a bearing, an impeller or a seal rather than the whole unit.
Home / Repairs
Straight diagnosis and an honest recommendation. Repair what can be repaired, replace only what genuinely can't.
What gets fixed
A pump that's screaming, a heater that's quit, water that's gone green overnight — the failure is usually smaller and cheaper than the symptom suggests. The job is finding out which.
Noise, loss of prime, leaks at the seal, or a motor that won't start. Often a bearing, an impeller or a seal rather than the whole unit.
No heat, intermittent heat, or a unit cycling on its safety cut-offs. Usually flow-related before it's ever the element.
Pressure that won't come down, media that's past it, leaks and cracked fittings on the suction and return side.
Green to clean
Coming back from a week away to a green pool looks like a disaster and usually isn't. Green means an algae bloom, which means the sanitiser dropped, the filter stopped keeping up, or both at once.
In most cases it's fixed without draining: test, shock, correct the chemistry, then run the water through the filter until it clears — which takes days, not hours, and that part can't be rushed.
The standard
This is the part customers tend to mention afterwards. If a part can be cleaned instead of swapped, it gets cleaned. If something will hold another season, you'll be told that rather than sold a replacement.
