Pool maintenance in Surrey & the Fraser Valley

Scheduled service visits that keep the water balanced, the filter breathing and the equipment out of trouble — done by the owner, not a rotating crew.

What a visit covers

The same work, every time.

A service visit isn't a quick skim and a scoop of chlorine. The water gets tested, the readings get corrected, and the equipment gets looked at while Jeff is already there — which is how small problems get caught before they turn into a repair bill.

  • Water testing and chemical balancing
  • Skimming the surface and brushing the walls and steps
  • Vacuuming the floor
  • Emptying skimmer and pump baskets
  • Checking and cleaning the filter
  • A look over pump, heater and plumbing for early warning signs

Why it matters

Three numbers run the whole pool

Almost every water problem traces back to one of these drifting out of range. Test kits read them in seconds; the trick is knowing which one to correct first.

pH

How acidic the water is

Too low and it eats at surfaces, fittings and skin. Too high and the chlorine in the water stops doing much of anything, no matter how much of it is in there.

Sanitiser

What actually kills things

Chlorine or bromine, and it gets used up — by swimmers, sunlight, heat and rain. A pool that was fine last week can be under-sanitised after one hot weekend.

Alkalinity

The shock absorber

It keeps pH from swinging every time something changes. When alkalinity is off, pH won't hold, and chasing pH alone becomes an expensive loop.

How it works

Regular schedule, or call when you need it

Some customers are on a set rotation through the season. Others call when the water turns or something breaks. Both are fine, and there's no contract either way — tell Jeff what suits you and he'll quote it.

On a schedule

Best if you'd rather not think about it. The water stays in range week to week instead of being corrected after it's already drifted, which generally uses fewer chemicals overall.

As needed

Best if you handle the day-to-day yourself and want someone for the openings, the closings and the weeks where something isn't behaving.
